Areas of Development
Our Pre-K class is offered three days a week in the morning and afternoon. Classes are three hours long.
We are aware of state standards as well as our local schools requirements for entrance to elementary school, and prepare our children accordingly. Children will learn academic skills such as recognizing and writing the alphabet and numbers. Children will feel more confident and have high self esteem when entering school. Children are free to make choices from either child initiated or teacher directed activities. We encourage problem solving and conflict resolution.
Activities include: circle time, games, sensory table, journals, home to school literacy packs, art, music, block building, and dramatic play.
